Get to know a Realtor you feel you can trust.  As a Professional Realtor, experienced in both new construction and resale homes, I can act as your Buyers Agent and advise you on:

Knowing how much to offer is one of the most difficult parts of buying a home.  Ask me for a list of recently sold properties of comparable size, location and amenities.  Comparing the price of those with the price of the home you want will tell you whether this property is realistically priced.

Sarasota is a "hot market" area.  Property prices here, while still attractive, have been going up consistently.  Properties you saw last year are probably no longer available at that price.  If you want a home here, buy it NOW before the price goes up even more.

Get real estate advice from a knowledgable Professional.  Don't count on Cousin Bob in Minnesota who bought a home 20 years ago.   The Realtor® representing the Seller may not tell you all you need to know, either.  As your Buyer's Agent, I am required by law to tell you everything I know that could affect the value of the property.

On Resale Properties, I always recommend a "Professional Inspection."  A home inspection before closing will uncover any major faults in the home.  Then, the Seller, not you, pays to correct those problems.  I can help you identify a competent, independent inspector.

On New Construction, don't "go it alone" with the builder.  You pay exactly the same price with or without a Realtor.  Doesn't it make sense to have someone who's looking out for you ?

As "Moving-In" day gets close and you need help, I'll be there helping you with things like getting utilities connected, finding your way around town and the many small things on which you just need a friendly assist.
